American Legion Drive Bulkhead

Instead of ripping up street ends to reinstall a Deadman system, solid square shaft helicals were installed through the existing wooden bulkhead. Then the new composite sheeting was driven in front of the old bulkhead and tied to the tension anchors for a full bulkhead replacement. Helicals were a less intrusive and less costly solution as they were installed under the existing streets eliminating closures and replacement expense.
