An inter-city structure had been demolished and the site was being repurposed to build a Canopy for an exhibit. Micro-Piles were originally specified bur the Engineer, Intech, value engineered the project due to suspect soil conditions and potential issues with subsurface obstructions.

- Challenge/Unique Aspect: There were no soil borings but a prior structured had been demoed and the site had not been properly remediated. Helicals were used as a cost-saving alternative to micro-piles and to fight through sub-surface debris.
